Whats Happening in 2025

There are lots of exciting things planned for 2025's May Day Fair, we hope our 45th annual event will be bigger and better than ever before to make a fantastic community event.
 
 There will be more added the closer we get to the big day!

Balloon Modelling

Art Vision Events will be on the field doing Balloon Modelling for all the children creating lots of beautiful and amazing designs.

Scarecrow Trail

Explore the field & hunt down all the scarecrows, this year the theme is Famous Events & People from History. ​More info HERE.

Live Music

The band stand will have music & displays during the day. Come back soon to see the acts that will be performing.

Car Boot Sale

There is always a large car boot sale at the May Day Fair, come along & sell your items or pick up a bargain!

Dog Show

Enter your dog into the dog show or fun dog activity run by the fabulous Listen Up Pup.

Titch the T-rex

Titch the T-Rex will be prowling the field wanting to say hello to everyone he meets. Will you be brave enough to meet him?!
Enjoy the rides including climbing wall, bouncy castle, go-karts, teacups, bungee trampolines and more!

Craft Marquee

There will be 24 amazing crafters & makers in our craft marquee selling everything from jewellery to art.

Bumblebee the Transformer

Bumblebee the Transformer is back in 2025 and will be making regular appearances throughout the day. At over 8ft tall he'll be hard to miss!

Superheroes & Princesses

There will be superheroes & Princesses walking all around the field. They will also be during storytimes during the day.

Punch & Judy Shows

Punch and Judy shows will be taking place on the field. It will be completely free to sit and enjoy this traditional puppet show.

Refreshments

There will be lots of delicious refreshment stalls including ice-creams, pizzas, burgers, hot dogs, indian food and lots more!!

There will be over 60 charity & business stalls all over the field with lots of activities & goods to browse.

Vintage Vehicle Display

View and admire the beautiful display of vintage vehicles. In 2024 it included cars, military jeep and a pint sized spitfire.
